Have you ever imagined, what will happen if you take an Uber ride and receive a bill worth crores? Well, an Uber customer was recently left stunned when he received a bill of 7.66 crore after taking a seemingly routine auto ride in the early hours of Friday.
Yes! You read that right. Deepak Tenguriya, a regular Uber customer booked an auto ride for just Rs 62 using the Uber India app. However, Deepak when reached his location received a bill worth Rs 7.66 crore.
After Deepak faced this unexpected incident, his friend Ashish Mishra took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared a video in which the two can be heard discussing the huge bill that Deepak received after booking an auto ride on Uber.
As per the video shared on X, Deepak was heard mentioning the exact amount he received in the Uber bill. When his friend Ashish asked him “How much is your bill worth, show”, Deepak replied saying, “Rs 7,66,83,762.”
When Deepak flashed his phone on the camera, it could be seen that Deepak was charged Rs 1,67,74,647 as “Trip fare”, while Rs 5,99,09189, was the waiting time cost. Rs 75 was deducted as a promotion cost.

Soon after the post went viral, the official X page of Uber India Customer Support issued an apology and claimed that they were looking into the matter.
