The Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, also known as NLC India Limited, recently released a notification to recruit eligible candidates in different departments of the corporation. As per the official release, the corporation will be recruiting candidates for the post of industrial workers, clerical assistants and junior engineers.
Eligible candidates can register for the vacant posts through online mode by visiting the official website of NLC at nlcindia.in. The application process commenced on March 25 and will be closing on April 24. Interested and eligible candidates are suggested to apply for the offered posts before the due date.
Ahead of the deadline on April 24, let us take a closer look at the details of the offered positions in NLC.
Vacancy
According to the notification, the corporation is offering a total of 34 vacant positions in different departments. It includes 8 seats in Junior Engineer posts, 17 in Clerical Assistant and 9 in Industrial Worker posts.
Eligibility
According to the release, the corporation asks for a varied range of educational qualifications for different posts. For the post of Junior Engineer, the candidate is required to have a certificate of Diploma in Engineering. For Clerical assistants, the candidates need to have any degree (full-time) and for the Industrial Workers post, the candidate is required to have Class 12th qualified with ITI.
Additionally, the applicant’s upper age limit to apply for any of the offered posts is 30 years. It will be calculated as of March 1, 2024. Meanwhile, the reserved category applicants are served relaxation in the age limit by the corporation.

Click on the Engagement of Personnel on Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis on the redirected page.
Register with the required details.
Log in using the registration number and password.
Fill out the application form after reading the instructions carefully.
Pay the required application fee (if applicable).
Review and click ‘Submit’.
Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.
Salary
On selection after the written examination, the recruited applicant will be offered between Rs 30,000 to Rs 38,000 per month.
