But, making your family meet your boyfriend can be challenging especially if a relationship is cross-cultural. A video of an Indian family welcoming their daughter’s British boyfriend with all the traditional rituals at their home has left the internet impressed.
The clip begins with an Indian girl (daughter) and her British man (boyfriend) standing at the door of the home. The British boyfriend touches the feet of his girlfriend’s mother and greets her with a bouquet of roses. As the video progresses, the mother can be seen welcoming the daughter and the British boy with all the traditional rituals. She also applies tilak on the British boy’s forehead. Other family members can be seen showering flowers on the couple and welcoming them. This special gesture of the family has created a buzz on the internet. The video was shared by an Instagram account named @ali_agg. Sharing the video, the user wrote, “Love how my family makes him feel special.” The video also features a text, that reads, “My Indian family welcomes my British boyfriend.”

Many users reacted with heart emoticons and some expressed their emotions in the comments section of the post. A user appreciated the boyfriend and wrote, “Guy seems like raised by good parents.” “He deserves to feel special,” added a second user. “He’s so down to earth,” commented a third. “Awww…that’s so sweet,” mentioned a fourth.
