DC vs CSK Live Score IPL 2024: Chennai Super Kings 0/0 in 0 Overs:

Half-centuries by David Warner and Rishabh Pant guide Delhi Capitals to 191/5 in 20 overs. The opening duo of Warner and Prithvi Shaw provided a blazing start to the Capitals before Pant took things into his own hands and starred with his maiden fifty this season. For CSK, Matheesha Pathirana was the pick of the bowlers as he returned 3 for 31 in 4 overs.
Pathirana to Pant – 6, 4, 4, W
Rishabh Pant has played his part, bringing up a fifty with some fireworks off just 31 balls. But he must be disappointed as he couldn’t finish the innings. The DC skipper looked to have a yorker-length ball but didn’t find the distance. Gaikwad settles underneath it and takes a great catch.
DC: 178/5 in 18.5 overs
All eyes on Rishabh Pant as the DC skipper battling against the CSK attack. Mustafizur into the attack and Pant foils his short ball with a pull shot to collect four runs towards the deep square leg. 150-up for DC.
DC: 153/4 in 17.2 overs
Deshpande to Pant, FOUR!
Attempted wide yorker which ends up as wide full toss. Pant throws his bat at it and makes the connection to get a boundary through deep point.
DC: 143/4 in 16 overs.
W, 0, W: Pathirana, you beauty. Marsh hit the Sri Lankan for a boundary behind square but the young pacer didn’t lose hope. The slinger nails the perfect yorker – 150 clicks – to clean up Marsh and another one to shut Tristan Staubbs for a 2-ball duck.
DC: 134/4 in 15 overs
Chahar to Mitchell Marsh: SIX
Not a great night for Deepak Chahar as he finishes off with the figures of 0 for 44 in 4 overs. Marsh hit him for a six off the last ball of his spell… over deep square into the stands.
DC: 129/2 in 14 overs.
Jadeja to Pant, SIX!
Here comes a Rishabh Pant classic. What a shot, this. Jadeja changes the angle but Pant finds the ball close to his body as he slog sweeps over mid-wicket for a maximum.
DC: 121/2 in 13 overs
A sharp catch from MSD behind the wickets and that would be the end of Prithvi Shaw. The DC opener had just struck a cracking six to Jadeja, only to get caught behind next ball. Quicker delivery, Shaw looks to cut through point, but deflects it straight into Dhoni’s gloves.
DC: 103/2 in 10.4 overs
Mustafizur has done it. He gets the priced wicket of David Warner and the DC opener walks back after scoring 52. Slower one, Warner goes for the reverse lap but can’t place it well. Pathirana pulls off a one-handed stunner and the DC opener is left shell-shocked.
DC: 94/1 in 9.3 overs
A well-made half-century for David Warner as he reaches the milestone off just 32 deliveries. The left-hander has been on fire right from the beginning of the game and making the CSK bowlers pay a huge price tonight.
DC: 91/0 in 9 overs
Pathirana brings some respite, slowing down the DC run fest by a huge margin. A couple of wide deliveries but over all, it turns out to be a neat over by the Sri Lanka pacer.
DC: 80/0 in 8 overs
Ravindra Jadeja comes into the attack but fails to create any difference for CSK. Shaw hammers a maximum while Warner manages to pick a boundary as the veteran all-rounder concedes 13 runs off the over.
DC: 75/0 in 7 overs
Mustafizur into the attack and David Warner greets him with a boundary through point. Width on offer and Warner latches on it. A couple of no-balls from the Bangladeshi pacer and Shaw makes the most of it with a hat-trick of boundaries, bringing up the highest Powerplay for Delhi this season.
DC: 62/0 in 6 overs
Deepak Chahar to Warner: 6, 4, 4
Warner smashes again, and Chahar doesn’t like it at all. Slower delivery, Warner picks it up behind square to clear the boundary. Deepak Chahar changes his length but doesn’t work as the DC opener back-to-back boundaries to put pressure on CSK.
DC: 42/0 in 5 overs
Deshpande to Prithvi –  4
First boundary to Shaw this season. Fuller delivery, outside off, Prithvi square drives fiercely for four.
DC: 24/0 in 4 overs
Chahar to Warner: 6!
Cracking shot, this. First maximum of the innings and it goes into orbit. Length ball, Wanrer bends his knees, gets under the length and deposits into the stands.
DC: 17/0 in 2.2 overs
Tushar Deshpande begins like a WOW! Bowling tight line, not letting the DC openers play any big shots. Just three singles to start with;
DC: 10/0 in 2 overs
Great start for DC. Deepak Chahar was blowing on tight lines until getting smashed for a boundary by David Waner off the last ball of the over.
DC: 7/0 in 1 over
