The Intermediate Science, Arts, and Commerce, as well as the Class 10th or Matric examination toppers, receive laptops and cash rewards from the Bihar Board each year. First-rank holders receive a laptop, an e-reader, and Rs 1 lakh. Those who secure the second and third ranks receive Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively, along with a laptop and an e-reader. Those who place fourth, fifth, and sixth each receive Rs 15,000 and a laptop.

During Bihar Board Topper Verification, about 13-14 examiners interview each student. At least 30-40 questions are asked to every student on the Bihar Board topper list. All questions are related to the syllabus of the Bihar Board exam. Along with this, they are asked to introduce themselves in English, and some other basic questions as well.
To pass the class 12th exam, the students must score at least 33 per cent in each subject, except language subjects which have 30 per cent qualifying marks.

This year, a total of 12,91,684 students took the exam, out of which 6,22,217 were girls and 6,69,467 were boys. The overall pass percentage is 87.21 %. This means, 11,26,439 students have passed the exam.

Students can also access their BSEB Class 12 results 2024 via the News18 Direct Link.

The overall pass percentage in the Bihar board Class 12 (inter) results 2024 stood at 87.21 per cent. The total stream wise pass percentage is as follows:
Arts– 86.15 per cent.
Science– 87.80 per cent.
Commerce– 94.88 per cent.
Vocational– 85.38per cent.

Last year, the overall pass percentage in Bihar Board class 12th examination stood at 83.70%, in which girls performed better than boys. Commerce toppers Soumya Sharma and Rajneesh Kumar Pathak had secured 95% marks. Science topper Ayushi Nandan secured 94.8% marks and Arts/Humanities topper Mohaddesa secured 95% marks
BSEB released the provisional answer keys for the Class 12 intermediate multiple-choice questions on March 5 at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Students were allowed to challenge the Class 12 answer key until 5 pm on the same day.
